Great Art

First of all, yes, I know I wrote a post last week, but Imber isn't quite ready with hers. So now, onto the post!

BEST DRAWING BOOK EVER
Have you always wanted to learn to draw awesome, cute transportation! Then Drawing Manga Vehicles is for you! You know it's a great drawing book because it has a skillfully drawn truck and a jet on the cover--AND they're drawn by purple-haired manga people holding PENS! Read this book and you will conquer the manga-vehicle-drawing WORLD!

Unless you're this guy. Who draws in pen. Badly. On a library book. And now Imber is sad because she can't erase it because it's pen. And now whoever checks out the book has to look at it.

That is all.

P.S. We have come to a consensus: the drawing is the jet on the cover of the book. Who's with us? Tell us in the comments!

The Start of it All

The book that started it all
Hello, and welcome to this new vunderful blog, full of books that have been destroyed to the point of being unrecognizable. The idea for the blog comes from this book right here. Doesn't look like much, does it? I mean, sure, it's got a page sticking out the top…and a mysterious looking piece of tape…but nothing a trusty librarian helper like Imber can't fix, right?

AUGH *death and destruction noises*
WRONG.
Imber could have easily fixed it, before this hapless "professional" got to it. I mean, that must be at least a roll of Scotch tape! (JSYN [just so you know], this is most definitely NOT the way to fix a book with a torn page) Luckily, I'm not the one who repairs the books--I just sit on the sidelines, making snide comments--but Imber had to carefully remove each piece of tape.

Another view of the horrible repair job

The tape (dun dun DUUUN)

Imber's work resulted in, if not a full roll, at least half a roll of tape.

Let me tell you, I still can't look at an I Spy book without shuddering.

Well, that's all for now, folks. Tell us what you think in the comments--we respond to every one, and appreciate ALL comments and questions (unless they're really stupid). .

TTFN,
Ignis
